Arthur C Thoren
Private "C" Co., 162 Infantry, 41st (Sunset) Division; son of John Thoren, Thompson, ND., and born there May 28, 1890; received grade school education; entered service Aug 1, 1918 and trained at Jefferson Barracks, Mo., and Waco, Texas; overseas in October, 1918, and transferred to 1st Division; saw active service in Meuse-Argonne offensive in which battle he was seriously wounded on November 11, 1918; 4 days later he died in a military hospital from the effects of his wounds.
