Major James A Rusmisell
Major rusmisell, the Regimental Surgeon, was born in West Virginia May 4, 1879. He received his education at the Maryland Medical School, the University of the South and West Virginia Seminary.
Major Rusmisell entered the West Virginia National Guard in 1914 as Captain in the Medical corps. He attended the training camp for Medical Officers at Fort Benjamin Harrison from June 25th to Sept 12, 1917, received his commission as Major and attached to the 113th Engineers as the Regimental Surgeon.
