Eal L Ovington, first flyer for air mail. Born in Chicago Ill, Dec 20th, 1880. Lived in S.B. 18 years. Passed away July 21, 1936 at Glendale Santitarium California of Cancer, rather 2 many operations.

1904 graduated from Ass Institute of Technology. Trained as an electrical Airmenautrical Engineer. Learned to fly at Pan France, no schools here. 13th Aviator to bring air plane into this ctry. Owned 13 planes designed the last one, named it Roam Air, Early Sport plane, worked 3 years with Thomas Edison in Lab. Owns airport at Casa Loma in 1920. 14 mmin, to js in Sta.bar.
