Oscar Gunderson

Corporal, "M" Co., 164th Infantry, 41st (Sunset) Division; son of Gunder Gunderson of Grand Forks; born at Grand Forks, ND, June 14, 1896; entered service April 30, 1917 and assigned to "M" Co., 164th Infantry at Grand Forks; trained at Camps Greene, Mills and Merritt; owerseas Dec 15, 1917; landed at Liverpool, England, and two weeks later at Le Havre, France; transferred to 116th Supply Train, 41st Division, stationed at St Algnan, France; promoted from private to corporal September 5, 1918; died of pneumonia and influenza at St Algnan, France on Feb 20, 1919.
