Private "B" Co., 213th Field Signal Battalion, 13th Division; son of Robert D English of Niagrara ND., and born there June 23, 1897; trained at Jefferson Barracks, MO, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and Camp Lewis, Washington., while at Fort Leavenworth was selected as one of 100 men to be sent to Camp Lewis for form nucleus of newly formed 13th Division; died at Camp Lewis of Pneumonia and empyema, November 4, 1918
