Mike A Cavalli

Corporal, M.G.Co., 164th Infantry, 41st Division, served before his entry into the US Service with the Canadian Infantry forces and received considerable training with this service at Winnipeg; entered US Service in July, 1917, by enlisting in the MG Co., 1st N.D. Inf., which later became M.G. Co., 164th Infantry, 41st Division; trained at Camp Greene, N. Caroline, Camp Mills, NY and Camp Merritt, NJ; overseas on Dec 15, 1917 on USS "Leviathan" arrived at Liverpool, England on Dec 24, 1917 and at Le Havre, France on Jan 1, 1918; after arrival in France he was transferred to 2nd MGBn, 1st Division with which organization he saw active combat service at Cantigny and at Soissons, at which latter action he was killed in battle in July, 1918.
